Rules

  • All Winners and Nominees are able to use the Splash Awards logo in their own communications and marketing.
  • Final scores are tabulated by the DrupalSouth Committee and are not published
  • DrupalSouth Committee members are not permitted to influence or alter the voting outcomes for any category, conflict of interest will be disclosed at the time of judging and a Committee member who has a conflict of interest will not judge that category/ies.
  • An individual may be nominated for only one community award which best suits their nomination. The judging panel (DrupalSouth Committee and Awards Sponsor) may accept/adjust awards at their discretion. If this occurs you will be notified and your acceptance of the change will be required.
  • There is no charge associated with Community Recognition awards categories.
  • Submissions who are not shortlisted as nominees are not permitted to use any Splash Awards collateral or marketing materials.
  • If a category receives fewer than 4 submissions, it may be removed from the event.
  • To avoid the appearance of any conflict of interest, any organisation which directly sponsors the award ceremony may not make any submissions.
  • All DrupalSouth Splash Community Awards are awarded by the DrupalSouth Committee at its sole discretion, the purpose of nomination is to put forward community recommendations. The judges decision is final.
  • The People's Choice Award is guided by the voting process - the most votes for an individual from the Australian and New Zealand community will win. The DrupalSouth Committee will assess the validity of all votes in this category (i.e. you must be able to demonstrate you are part of the ANZ community either through your work email when you vote and/or Drupal profile)
  • Any nominees you put forward must accept their nomination - please check for acceptance before submitting/recommending someone in the community.
