The Today Design Keynote: Charbel Zeaiter

Understanding that our basic human needs barely change, how does the future of technology shape what we eat, how we communicate, how we commute or how we love?

Charbel Zeaiter’s keynote presentation will hone in on what he considers to be “The Five Waves of Technology” and how emerging technologies will affect our core human reality. What will this mean for our world, our communities and our sense of self?

Starting his career as a web designer in 1998, Charbel quickly specialised in Information Architecture and User Experience Design and worked around the world through the 2000s, culminating in a return to Sydney to start his own UX agency.

Seeing a growing need in the market for professionally focused User Experience Design education, Charbel co-founded Academy Xi in 2015 to empower students to solve design problems for the real world. Academy Xi has now trained thousands of people across a diverse range of innovative courses.

Through all of this, Charbel he maintained his fascination with design, technology and its human impact in shaping our future. This wide ranging talk promises to challenge and inspire our perceptions of where technology is taking us.
