A SKILL.md for Drupal: where AI helps with components, and where it doesn't

Track: Technical

Ask AI to build a Drupal component and you'll get something that looks right. Look closer and you'll often find code written for an older version of Drupal, conventions ignored, and accessibility missed.

A SKILL.md changes that. It's a plain file that tells the AI how your project works and what you expect before it writes a line of code. In this session I'll share the process I've been using, with a live demo showing the difference it makes and where it still needs some work.

This isn't a polished framework, its a work in progress trying to find what works the best. But if you've never written a SKILL.md, you'll leave with a practical place to start, along with how to use it carefully.

Lately she's been trying to work out where AI actually helps in day-to-day Drupal work, and where it doesn't.
