DrupalSouth Shorts is our online-only event format. New for 2021, with shorter formats, topical content and the opportunity ask questions and interact online.

Keynote speaker - Jithma Beneragama

Jithma Beneragama is an executive with 20 years’ experience in digital and transformation. With experience working within start-ups, large corporates, and government, he has international exposure driving businesses to innovate and has delivered compelling experiences across multiple platforms.

After completing his degree at Monash University, Jithma began his career in China at a start-up developing some of Asia’s first mobile content services and digital media infrastructure. He returned to Australia, becoming one of the first members of Telstra’s mobile media division.

Recognised as one of Australia’s Top 50 most innovative CIOs in 2018 and again in 2020. He has led teams to deliver a number of industry firsts and products, winning awards in categories such as innovation, customer experience, and design.

Jithma joined the Victorian Public Service in March 2014 to focus on the transformation of the Victorian Government’s digital experience; to make it easier for citizens, business and the community to interact with Government.
