DrupalSouth elections
- New Zealand position on the DS steering committee became available after Dallas moved out of the Au/NZ region
- 36 community members voted between two amazing New Zealanders. Voting closed on Friday 11 July 2025.
- Winner contacted week of 14 July to confirm they're keen beans to join.
DrupalSouth Community Day (DSCD) 2025
- DSCD 2024 wrap up article published.
- GovCMS Mega Meetup recently announced as a week long online event, which impacts how DSCD would run.
- DrupalSouth planning to hold DSCD Thursday 6 November 2025, the week before GovCMS and DC Asia Japan which is on the following week.
- Survey to go out to DrupalSouth mailing list to gauge interest in a single day in-person event, closing Friday 1 August 2025
DrupalSouth Wellington 2026
- A number of venues have been contacted and it's down to the final two.
- It is most likely to be held mid-May 2026 pending availability.
- Sponsorship interest hasn't picked up yet which has meant venue options are limited.
Next meeting:
- Scheduled for Monday 11 August 2025, however may change due to committee member prior commitments.
