My background and history with Drupal:
Drupal site developer for 4 years and relatively new to contributing and winner of rising star award (2025).
Why I'm running as a candidate:
As a developer early in my career I'm interested in how AI and other shifts are reshaping our industry and I want to help DrupalSouth stay relevant by continuing to host talks that reflect the cutting edge of where things are heading.
I'd bring a different less experienced, perspective to the committee's conversations, including a stronger read on what early-career developers want to see and hear at the event. I've also served on multiple committees, in both regular and office bearer roles, and genuinely enjoy the work of organising events and i would love to put that experience to use here.
