My background and history with Drupal:
I've been working in the Drupal space for over 15 years. I have built multiple sites with Drupal. I used to run my own agency, then worked in federal and state government and Accenture on projects like Worksat Victoria with decoupled Drupal, London Chamber of Commerce, and the Australian Tax Office.
I am very grateful because Drupal has been the stepping stone of my career. I am now a Director of Cloud and AI Platforms at Seeing Machines, which is a large publicly listed global AI company, and I keep continuing to contribute to open source as much as I can. Last year I presented at DrupalCon Atlanta and Drupal South Melbourne as well.
Why I'm running as a candidate:
I want to contribute my time to open source. Because of the open source technologies, primarily Drupal, I got to where I am in my career and I'm really passionate about giving back and continuing to contribute and raising awareness about open source and Drupal
Why you should vote for me:
I bring a combination of deep Drupal roots and experience leading technology teams and large digital platforms.
I’ve been part of the Drupal community for more than 15 years, from building Drupal sites and running an agency to working on major government and enterprise projects. Today, I lead Cloud and AI platforms at a global technology company, so I can bring experience in leadership, strategy, partnerships and emerging technology back to the community that helped build my career.
Most importantly, I want to help DrupalSouth grow — bringing more people into the community, strengthening relationships with organisations that use and support Drupal, and making sure Drupal and open source remain relevant as the technology landscape changes.
I’m prepared to contribute my time, energy and experience, and I’d be grateful for the opportunity to give something back to a community that has given me so much.
