Ajax is primarily a front end developer. And yes, it is ironic that his name is also an internet technology. But he got that name as a taunt in the 3rd grade, and it stuck. True story. It's also true that Ajax is asynchronous - he is poor at responding to email, but does respond to texts... eventually. Ajax likes working with a bunch of different technologies, and prefers React for front end development. He trains Aikido and BJJ, has a cat and likes rock climbing and snowboarding.
