Akhil recently joined the Salsa Digital family after working with the federal Department of Communications and the Arts for almost eight years. Akhil is a highly motivated and experienced digital communications professional with over 15 years’ experience in ICT product management, digital marketing, strategy development, account management, digital creative design, and Agile development.
Akhil’s experience includes federal government corporate roles (from digital communications to web services) and private sector experience, from creative digital agencies to web design and development studios. He’s been involved in GovCMS since its inception and while at Communications was the technical lead and product owner delivering the first complex website on GovCMS (Communications.gov.au), followed by the department’s second corporate site, Arts.gov.au, and finally the Ministers’ site, including continuous improvements and enhancements for the sites.
