DrupalSouth Community Day 2026
The DrupalSouth Community Day 2026 in Canberra is a two day community event, beginning with a conference style program on Thursday 19 November 2026, followed by a social catch up on day two.
We have doubled the amount of complimentary tickets available to APS staff from previous years.

- Cost
- No cost for APS staff (you must have a .gov.au email address)
- No cost for students (limited availability, you must have a .edu.au email address)
- $80 for non APS staff
Registration opens at 8:00am, with sessions running from 9:00am to approximately 3:30pm, followed by networking drinks until 5:50pm.
The day will feature technical and non-technical presentation tracks of 30 minutes each, before finishing the day with a networking event with refreshments provided.

Moving Issue Queues to GitLab for Drupal Projects
The Drupal ecosystem is currently transitioning its project management and issue queues to GitLab. If you are used to the legacy Drupal.org issue queue workflow or patch-based contributions, this hands-on session provides a clear, practical guide to navigating the modern contribution workflow. Learn how to search and manage issue queues, create and review Merge Requests (MRs), and properly award issue credits under the updated Drupal contribution model.
