Call for papers

DrupalSouth Hobart 2019 is seeking session submissions from people connected to the Drupal ecosystem to share experiences across diverse backgrounds, topic areas and disciplines. Selected speakers will receive a complimentary ticket to the event but will be required to fund their own travel expenses to Hobart. Consideration for subsidised travel may be considered for people with limited financial means. More information on subsidised travel will be provided on request.

Session submissions can be a full 40 minutes or half 20 minutes and more than one speaker may co-present a session. There will be an opportunity for 10 minute lightning talks to be presented on the final day, after the main sessions have concluded. Attendees can submit proposals for lightning talks at the event.

Session Track topics include:
  • Back-end Development
  • Front-end Development
  • DevOps and Security
  • User Experience & Content
  • Project Management
  • Showcase & Horizons

Full Session Track descriptions can be found here. Submissions will be evaluated by a volunteer team of Track Leads with experience in each topic area and will be chosen based on completeness of description, relevance to the track topic, and speaker experience.

Submissions must be made before 11:59pm on Saturday August 31st 2019. Multiple submissions are allowed. Selected speakers will be notified in September 2019. The conference will be held on Thursday 28 & Friday 29 November 2019 in Hobart, Tasmania, Australia.

We're looking forward to your submissions, and seeing you all at this year's DrupalSouth in Hobart! Thank you to all contributors.
