Voting is open to members of the Australian and New Zealand Drupal community and closes at midnight (AEDT) on Wednesday 21 October 2026.

Each person will get one point per vote. Please note: If you are voting for someone within your own agency, your vote will only count for .5 score and not 1.

As per the original committee election guidelines, the following process will occur:

  • All committee seats are subject to the election cycle. Margery Tongway and Ashleigh King’s current terms conclude in November 2026, while Julia Topliss and Chris Burgess’ terms conclude in May 2027. Vladimir Roudakov’s current term is due to conclude in November 2026, and he has nominated for a further term through to November 2028.
  • Suchi Garg was the only female to self nominate and will automatically take up a committee seat from November 2026, replacing Margery Tongway and ensuring the committee continues to meet its gender representation requirements.
  • No New Zealand candidates nominated during the nomination period, so the geographic representation requirement cannot be filled through this election round.
  • Voting will therefore determine two seats commencing in November 2026 and two seats commencing in May 2027. The candidates contesting these four seats are all Australian men.
  • Each elected term runs for two years from the relevant commencement date. The next committee election is expected to be held in September 2028.
  • Candidates who are not elected to a committee seat are still very welcome to contribute through working groups and other DrupalSouth initiatives.

The candidate profiles for the election are listed below in alphabetical order:
